Our custom mobile pharmacies are even capable of having clean rooms as well as normal pharmaceutical and retail distribution capabilities (for both pharmaceuticals and other hard and soft goods). Being mobile allows for this system to serve different locations where there is a requirement for immediate setup and operation.
Our customized pharmacies can be designed for both hospital and retail customers. Our mobile pharmacies are built on a 45′ (13.3M) Freightliner or Kenworth Heavy Duty Truck Chassis (Self Propelled); or on either a 40′ (12M) or 53′ (16M) Straight Trailer (Hospital Pharmacy); or on a 53′ (16M) Double Expandable Trailer with approximately 1100 ft2 (102 M2) internal space.

Our highly mobile and rapidly deployable Rapid Mobility Mobile Pharmacy Unit is designed for every day use as a wellness clinic. Then when required, it can be quickly transformed into a mobile retail pharmacy facility complete with an office, lavatory, pharmacy distribution counter and a front-end store. This unit can also be retrofitted for use as a clean room.
This facility is built on a 45′ (13.3M) Freightliner or Kenworth Heavy Duty Truck Chassis so it is self propelled. The chassis comes standard as a 2-wheel drive vehicle. However, if required, it can be upgraded to 6-wheel drive for additional off road capability.
The primary mission of this rapid mobility mobile pharmacy is a wellness clinic. However, when a natural disaster occurs and there is a need for temporary pharmacy (due to a severely damaged retail pharmacy store caused by the disaster), this mobile facility can quickly be transformed into a fully operational pharmacy store. There are many situations where this rapid mobility solution is a better solution than our larger 53′ (16M) mobile pharmacies. Some of situations might be:
- The bridges and roads may be blocked from use by larger trailers by the Department of Transportation.
- The lost store might only need a smaller temporary pharmaceutical store.
- The parking lot (at the site of the store suffering from the disaster) is too small for the larger trailers to enter and park.
Another mission this facility could be used for is a front-end store at major sporting events such as: football games, NASCAR, or any other major sporting activity. You could also use this mobile facility as a “Show” unit providing marketing material at major conventions.
Mobile Healthcare Facilities has a design that utilizes different modular packages that can quickly be replaced to accomplish the different missions required.
The superstructure of this unit is all aluminum with two (2) full-length slides (one on each side of the trailer). These expandable walls almost triple the interior space inside the truck facility.
This mobile pharmacy can be rapidly set up and struck. It can be set up and struck within thirty (30) minutes with four (4) people.

This 30′ (9M) double expandable self-propelled pharmacy can also be used by hospitals if there is a need for a small and mobile pharmacy. We will customize the specific pharmacy to meet your needs (all floor plans are customer specific). Mobile Healthcare Facilities’ Mobile Hospital Pharmacy is designed as a full service hospital pharmacy. This mobile hospital pharmacy can be attached to any brick and mortar hospital to supplement or replace the current pharmacy in the hospital. This mobile pharmacy can also be an integral part of a mobile hospital complex. It is capable of stocking a large range of medications, including specialized and investigational medications. This hospital pharmacy is primarily designed to effectively and efficiently provide medications for the hospitalized patients.
This mobile pharmacy unit is capable of providing huge quantities of medications per day. It can also be built with a clean room, capable of compounding sterile products for patients (including total parenteral nutrition, and other medications given intravenously).
This facility can be built on either a straight 40′ (12.2M) or 53′ (16M) heavy-duty semi trailer chassis. If required, due to capacity and volume throughput issues, Mobile Healthcare Facilities is able to develop a solution in a 53′ (16M) double expandable trailer. The double expandable pharmacy will almost triple the size of the mobile pharmacy. The size of the mobile pharmacy required is dependent upon the expected stocking and distribution requirements. The superstructures of these different size pharmacy units are all aluminum frame and bodies.
The layout of this 40′ (12M) straight-sided pharmacy can be set up and fully operational to support the hospital within forty (40) minutes after arrival, by four (4) personnel. The primary set up time is stocking the shelves and preparing the staff for their work shifts.

Our Mobile Pharmacy Facility (53′)(16M) is designed for disaster relief or increased hospital pharmacy capacity; it is the best double expandable mobile pharmacy on the market.
We work directly with our Commercial Pharmacy and Hospital staffs to develop an optimal large mobile pharmacy trailer. This mobile pharmacy is also capable of having a clean room installed for compounding pharmaceuticals.
Our customized pharmacies can be designed for both hospital and retail customers. This mobile pharmacies is built on a 53′ (16M) heavy-duty, double expandable, all aluminum frame and body superstructure, semi trailer chassis. There are two (2) large expandable walls (one (1) on each side of the trailer). These expandable walls almost triple the interior space inside the trailer. This additional space provides the room required to handle all of your retail requirements (office, employee break room, wellness clinic, pharmacy distribution area, staff and customer lavatories, and front end store area). This expandable trailer has approximately 1100 ft2 (102 M2) of internal space.
Our retail pharmacy customers can have us design them a specific mobile pharmacy that meets their specific brand recognition. Our mobile pharmacy unit is modular so it can be transformed quickly and easily to accomplish multiple missions such as: 1) disaster response (complete mobile pharmacy); 2) front end stores (sporting events or other events); 3) wellness clinics; or 4) marketing opportunities.

Therefore, our mobile pharmacies can be used every day and when a natural disaster occurs, it can quickly be transformed to meet your disaster response mission. This disaster response transformation and deployment can occur in less than twenty-four (24) hours. Therefore, when a disaster occurs the mobile facility can quickly be transformed to a complete mobile pharmacy and be fully operational within 24 hours. Once deployed and on-site, it can be set up and fully operational with a few hours by four (4) to six (6) personnel. The primary work is stocking the shelves.
