This Remote Mobile Intensive Care Unit (20′)(6M) (along with our ambulances, trauma surgical facilities, mobile mass casualty trailer, remote patient ward facility, and mobile triage facilities) is a part of Mobile Healthcare Facilities’ mass casualty, disaster response, or military medical system.   This remote facility is designed to provide critical care, for seriously injured patients recovering from surgery or triage.  This unit provides a small, but clean and safe facility for the patients to recover. This mobile medical unit has two (2) semi-private rooms designed specifically for the care of mass casualty incident patients.

Mobile Healthcare Facilities’ Remote Mobile Intensive Care Unit is designed to meet our customers’ most seriously injured and remote patients.  The semi-private rooms and nursing environment promote efficiency, comfort, and safety.  Each of the two (2) semi-private rooms are equipped with the technology to properly care for severely injured patients. Our detailed designs are the latest in mobile medical technology and it has allowed us to maximize the floor space in this medical patient recovery system.

Designing this smaller look but spacious facility, we use the lessons learned (in our two larger intensive care units) by utilizing the quality of care from our largest 53’ (16M) mobile hospital intensive care unit, and the maneuverability of our mid size unit (30’ (9M) Intensive Care Unit) to provide a rapid response intensive care unit.  The size of this facility and its 4WD capability allows this intensive care unit to go to any remote mass casualty site and perform its mission of helping to save lives.

This medical facility is highly technical; however, it is very easy to operate. It is built on a 20’ (6M) heavy-duty truck chassis. The unit has an all aluminum superstructure; therefore, it is lightweight, strong, and very maneuverable.

This facility can be used as a package with one or more Mobile Healthcare Facilities’ Mobile Mass Casualty Units making a complete mass casualty response system.

This Mobile Intensive Care Unit (30′)(9M) is part of our mass casualty, disaster response, or military medical system. It is designed to provide continuous and comprehensive critical care for persons who are seriously injured and can benefit from treatment.  This facility provides a clean and safe place for the patients to recover after their traumatic surgery. This mobile medical unit has six (6) semi-private rooms designed specifically for the critical care of mass casualty patients.

Mobile Healthcare Facilities’ Mobile intensive Care Unit has been designed for our customers’ most seriously injured patients. The semi-private rooms and nursing environment promote safety, comfort, and efficiency.  Each semi-private room is equipped with the technology required to properly care for these seriously injured patients. The critical equipment, that are a special part of this facility, are: 1) medical gases (including vacuum); and 2) mechanical ventilators.

Designing this small yet spacious facility, we used what we learned from our largest 53′ (16M) mobile hospital intensive care unit to include the following features: 1) Comfort; 2) Safety; 3) Accessibility; and 4) Communications.  We also include an air filtration system having: 1) a minimum of 80% filtration and 20+ air exchanges per hour; 2) medical gas stations (integrated Oxygen, Medical Air, and Vacuum); 3) Wheel chair lift; and 4) nurses call system.

This medical facility is highly technical; however, the operation of this mobile intensive care truck is still easy to use by the staff.  It is built on a 40′ (12M) heavy-duty truck chassis. The body and frame structure, of this intensive care truck, is all aluminum.  Therefore, it is lightweight and strong.  The intensive care unit’s body has two large expandable sides so when deployed, the interior space of this facility increases to provide almost three (3) times the interior space.

It is recommended that this facility be utilized together with other mass casualty units as part of an overall mass casualty response solution.  This facility can be used in conjunction with one or more Mobile Healthcare Facilities’ such as: Mass Casualty Incident Trailer, Mobile Triage Unit, Mobile Trauma Surgical Units, and Mobile Patient Ward Unit.

Our Mobile Hospital Intensive Care Facility (53′)(16M) is a major part of our entire mobile hospital complex.  It is our specialized section of our mobile hospital that provides comprehensive and continuous care for persons who are critically ill or who can benefit from treatment.  This is our largest intensive care unit and it is designed and dedicated to catering to eight (8) patients with the most severe and life-threatening illnesses and injuries.  These patients require close and continuous monitoring and support from special equipment and medications in order to maintain normal bodily functions.

The patients who require treatment in our mobile intensive care unit normally consist of:

  • Critically ill patients in a medically unstable state who require an intensive level of care (monitoring and treatment).
  • Patients requiring intensive monitoring who may also require emergency interventions.
  • Patients who are medically unstable or critically ill and who do not have much chance for recovery due to the severity of their illnesses or traumatic injuries.

The major difference between our Mobile Patient Ward Facility and our Mobile Intensive Care Unit is the additional specialized equipment such as critical patient monitors (frequently check the heartbeat, blood pressure and breathing) and mechanical ventilators. Without this additional critical care, the patients have a high risk of dying.

This mobile intensive care unit uses all of the lessons learned from our Mobile Patient Ward that each semi-private patient room should contain important safety features and amenities that will help to enhance each patient’s experience.  Based upon these needs, we designed our Mobile Intensive Care Facility for comfort and comprehensive care.  Each semi-private room is designed with the following features: 1) Comfort; 2) Safety; 3) Accessibility; and 4) Communications.

The comfort of these semi-private rooms comes in the way of: 1) spacious room between patient beds (to properly administer care to these critical patients); 2) Quality of patient beds (provided as part of the standard equipment); 3) Safety in the form of air quality, patient monitoring, mechanical ventilators, and integrated medical gas with integrated Oxygen, Medical Air, and Vacuum; and 4) Communications directly to the nurses by a nurses’ call system.

Even though this facility is extremely technical, our mobile intensive care trailer is easy to use by the nurses in caring for their patients.  This intensive care unit is built on a 53′ (16M) heavy-duty semi-trailer chassis. The body and frame structure of this intensive care trailer is all aluminum.  Therefore, it is lightweight, strong, and provides a low probability of infection.  This trailer has two (2) large expandable sides so when deployed; the interior space of this facility is almost 1100 ft2  (102 m2) (providing maximum space for providing this critical care).

It is recommended that this facility be utilized together with other mobile medical units as part of an overall mobile hospital solution.  It is a good facility to use in conjunction with Mobile Healthcare Facilities’ Mobile Surgical Facility, Mobile Emergency Room Facility, and Mobile Patient Ward Facility.

Providing YOU, the Doctors and Nurses, the perfect mobile intensive care facility to properly provide critical care to your most extremely sick and severely injured patients.
