Our Mobile Dialysis Facilities in St. Croix
St. Croix is one of the United States Virgin Islands. Being part of the United States Territories, it falls under the United States Government for Disaster relief. The aftermath from Hurricane Maria resulted in severe damage to the hospital resulting in the closure of the Dialysis Center. The closure of the dialysis center resulted in the United States Government having to fly each resident from St. Croix to Miami for dialysis treatment 3 times a week. The cost to FEMA was extremely expensive; therefore, FEMA contracted with Mobile Healthcare Facilities to build and deliver a Mobile Dialysis Facility to St. Croix.
This was a perfect solution to this problem, FEMA purchased 2 ea. Mobile Dialysis Facilities from Mobile Healthcare Facilities. This solution was highly successful in helping to provide this critical care to multiple people suffering from renal failure in St. Croix saving the US taxpayers millions of dollars each month and still providing the outstanding care to the residents of St. Croix.
