Our ICU Facility for Gila River in Arizona

Huhugam, the Native American Tribe in Arizona along the Gila River, needed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) capacity during the Pandemic of 2019 (COVID 19). This tribe was in desperate need to obtain Intensive Care Unit (ICU) capacity for their citizens suffering from COVID 19. Therefore, they worked with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to purchase a Mobile ICU to handle this state of emergency.

As a perfect solution to this problem, they purchased 1 ea. Mobile ICUs from Mobile Healthcare Facilities. This solution was highly successful in helping to save multiple lives during this terrible crisis.

In addition to a short-term solution to combat COVID 19, the Gila River tribe looked at their long-term situation and added this ICU capacity to their tribal hospital. This mobile ICU more than doubled their ICU capacity and they continue to use it every day to save lives and limbs.
